In response to user demand, the Health Auditors Local Evaluation (ALE) Standards are now included in CIRIS. This standard forms the use of resources assessment for NHS Trusts and PCTs within the Healthcare Commission’s annual health check assessment in 2005/6.

CIRIS users will now be able to carry out compliance assessments, manage evidence, assess risk and plan actions for ALE in the same way as they do for Standards for Better Health, CNST, NHSLA RMS and NICE guidance. The extension of the standards set to ALE reaffirms CIRIS as the most comprehensive compliance management solution for healthcare.
