In conjunction with the launch of the IR(ME)R Service, CIRIS is very pleased to announcing the formation of the CIRIS IR(ME)R Discussion Group. The Discussion Group will give all users the opportunity to exchange experience and ideas on complying with IR(ME)R and using CIRIS.

The CIRIS - IR(ME)R Discussion Group will meet on the 18th October 2004 at the Royal College of Radiologists.

The Discussion Group is hosted by CIRIS, but it is driven by the community. At the first meeting there will be presentations on user’s experiences of preparing for inspection, the day of inspection, living with IR(ME)R and the trust wide view. The session will also have an opportunity to discuss hot topics such as training and entitlement, referral lists and research projects and a workshop to see the IR(ME)R Service live in operation.

The Discussion Group is open to all CIRIS members and is included in your membership. The Discussion Group will serve as a focal point for discussions and will use the electronic User Forum boards built into CIRIS to ensure its members can meet ‘virtually’ and exchange ideas at any time.
