National resource for modernising diagnostic services in Scotland.

CIRIS is very pleased to announce that NHS QIS (Quality Improvement Scotland) are extending their support for the roll out of CIRIS across the Radiology service in Scotland with direct funding for an additional six months.

The CIRIS Liaison Board is now working with Chief Executives, the radiology community and a number of other groups to use CIRIS to support the modernisation of diagnostic services across Scotland.

Prof Donald Hadley, Chair of the CIRIS Liaison Board, says “The involvement of QIS further supports the roll out of CIRIS as a national resource to inform policy and help with particular aspects of waiting lists, waiting times and overall service audit.”

David Kirk, Business Development Director of CIRIS, says “We are very pleased with this support from NHS QIS. Working in partnership with the CIRIS Liaison Board, the goal of CIRIS is to ensure the whole community has access to the information they need to inform the modernisation of the service and to reduce the burden of complying with the regulations and guidelines that exist.”
