Following discussions with those involved with producing, implementing and monitoring breast screening and symptomatic standards, the CIRIS Governing Board is now looking to include the standards in CIRIS.

The standards will be integrated into the existing set of standards allowing users to seamlessly manage all of the compliance issues across the whole department.This should make the process of monitoring and reporting on compliance more efficient and effective.

The developments will be discussed at the RCR Breast Group Annual Scientific Meeting (November 2003):
