CIRIS are pleased to announce the development of an IR(ME)R service for CIRIS on the Web with the assistance of the DoH.

CIRIS users regularly ask if CIRIS can be configured to facilitate the management of IR(ME)R. CIRIS Healthcare is therefore pleased to announce an IR(ME)R service for CIRIS, developed with the assistance of the Department of Health (DoH), providing a definitive IR(ME)R implementation and guidance system. The CIRIS IR(ME)R system will enable proper management of exacting IR(ME)R requirements. Users will be logically directed through the most appropriate application of the legislation and its ongoing maintenance. At every stage the user will be supported by guidance agreed by the DoH experts who devised and now oversee this UK variant of European legislation.

The CIRIS IR(ME)R service will be fully integrated with the full suite of CIRIS facilities that ensure effective clinical governance in today’s diagnostic imaging services.

The CIRIS IR(ME)R service will be ready in late 2003 / early 2004. Existing CIRIS Radiology users will be able to access the new service as soon as it is released with no increase in subscription.
